Regulations play an increasingly complex role in society, from safeguarding the privacy of patients’ health records to advancing cybersecurity to promoting the stability of financial institutions.
At the Kline School of Law, we not only understand the regulatory environment that affects professionals working in businesses, organizations and government agencies, we are providing leadership in shaping the response. We are giving a new generation of professionals the tools to address evolving needs across a spectrum of careers ranging from legal practice to regulatory compliance in diverse settings.
Our faculty features nationally recognized experts who bring deep insights and an innovative approach to the ever-shifting regulatory environment in which a wide range of professionals operate.
Courses we offer toward the JD, and programs such as our Master of Legal Studies (MLS) and IAPP CIPP US, E and CIPM certification training, advance the understanding of the regulatory environment and program requirements. Professionals working in arenas such as health care, finance, cybersecurity, human resources and higher education can all benefit from privacy trained employees, as well as those who need to understand compliance related to criminal law, entrepreneurship and collegiate athletics.
Affirming the quality of our MLS and Graduate Certificate in Health Care Compliance programs, the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) has made the Kline School of Law one of just seven law schools in the nation to receive accreditation.
